We all know those people who are incredibly likeable and attractive, and who we simply enjoy spending time with. Then there are those who make us feel uncomfortable, so we instinctively avoid them. But what exactly is the reason for this?
The answer is clear: it's because of their aura!
The word 'aura' comes from the Greek for 'breath of air'. Like a breath of air, our aura surrounds us. This refers to the various energy fields that envelop our body and can shimmer in a wide variety of colours. It's no coincidence that the halo is referred to as an 'aureole' in religious tradition. In this context, it is also a special type of aura that surrounds these people.
If you think this is too vague and that a halo is not proof that other people have an aura, you are right. However, science has confirmed that such energy fields actually exist.
Everyone has their own unique aura, which can be made visible using Kirlian photography. This special form of electro-photography reflects the energetic system of the human body. It can therefore depict a person's mental, emotional and physical states visually. It is important to note that humans are not the only beings surrounded by energy. This also applies to all animals and other living beings, as well as inanimate objects. However, while objects are surrounded by a simple energy field, the human aura is much more complex in terms of its extent, colour and diversity. The more highly developed a living being is, the more complex its aura.
In the following sections, we will therefore focus on the human aura. Those who understand how to read the aura can gain valuable insights into a person's mental, emotional and physical state, as well as ways to improve it. Put simply: show me your aura and I'll tell you who you are! It is therefore high time we took a closer look at this magical phenomenon.
However, it's not as simple as clicking a camera shutter and instantly decoding our aura. It requires individuals with experience who can not only see the aura, but also interpret it. This is not easy because the structure of the human aura is complex. In fact, we are surrounded by many different auras, which fit together like pieces of a puzzle to form the energy field we refer to as the aura.
So let's set about uncovering its different layers.
This aura is attached directly to our body and radiates outwards to a distance of three to five centimetres. Consisting of thousands of smaller energy flows, it shows a person's state of health. You could also say that it represents our life energy. In a healthy person, this energy can flow freely, and the aura glows in shades of blue, light violet or delicate pink. However, if part of the body is ill, there is clearly little or no energy flow at this point, and the colour appears dark and dull.
This aura shows us a person's emotional state and the desires and emotions currently occupying them. Each of our feelings can be read directly in this astral aura, which extends up to 1.5 metres around us. The focus is on current moods, which can change within a short period of time. For example, if a person becomes really angry, their astral aura turns dark red and their anger flows into the room as a cloud of energy.
People in the immediate vicinity can perceive this emotional intensity and be affected by it, just as we can be influenced by others' feelings. Strong emotions remain attached to a person's aura for up to three days, until it is cleansed again. The colour of the astral aura varies greatly depending on the emotion. The more loving a person is, the brighter their aura shines in delicate pastel shades.
This aura reveals a person's current thoughts and ideas, and can extend up to three metres beyond the body. As ideas are often associated with feelings, the astral and mental auras are closely connected. In general, however, the mental aura appears clearer. The clearer a person's thoughts are, the clearer and tidier their mental aura appears, and the colours appear light and bright. Conversely, dark thoughts also darken the aura.
This aura allows one to glimpse the deeper traits of the soul. The more highly developed the soul is, the more space the subtle aura occupies. Highly spiritual people have a subtle aura that can extend up to 10 metres beyond the body. Unlike the auras described above, the subtle aura is hardly affected by everyday problems and annoyances.
Therefore, its colour does not change as quickly, making it generally more stable. This is easy to understand: our moods fluctuate quickly, but the fundamental characteristics that define us – our virtues and vices – do not change so quickly. The more virtuous a person is, the softer, more delicate and brighter their subtle aura shines.
According to ancient traditions, beyond the subtle plane are further purely spiritual planes through which the soul connects to the divine. However, even many clairvoyant people can no longer clearly discern these planes, which is why we will not discuss them in detail here. In any case, experts disagree on how many individual auras there are, and the names are not uniform either. Ultimately, though, aura reading is not about forcing everything into a rigid system that allows for no deviations. Rather, it is about equipping people with the tools to help them understand themselves better.
– Black: lovelessness, hatred, base motives
– Brown: greed, avarice (with a reddish tinge)
– Grey: fear, anxiety and depression
– Red: turbulent emotions, such as anger, love and great vitality
– Pink: selfless, loving thoughts
– Violet: the purest and deepest form of love and spirituality
– Orange: pride, (false) ambition
– Yellow: intellect
– Dark yellow: selfish thinking
– Light yellow: high ideals
– White: connection to the spiritual world and enlightenment
– Blue: spirituality and intuition
– Grey-blue: pessimism and mistrust
– Indigo blue: high spirituality
– Dark green: deceitful intentions
– Light green: divine inspiration and strong healing power
Given how complex we humans are, correctly reading our auras is just as difficult. It requires a lot of practice, empathy, and clairvoyant talent. Laypeople are, of course, welcome to have a go, but if you want serious, helpful advice, you should seek professional guidance.
